THE UNSPEAKEASY SCHOOL OF THOUGHT
The Unspeakeasy School of Thought is for writers and thinkers who go against the grain and think out of the box.
These workshops are designed in the spirit of The Unspeakeasy meaning instructors will emphasize artistry over identity; craft-based analysis of student writing; real-world advice from industry pros; lively and nuanced discussion; and intellectual curiosity.
The courses will be taught by a range of authors, screenwriters, academics, rogue geniuses, and fearless subject matter experts, some of whose names you’ll recognize!
UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
Writing workshops meet for two hours per week over Zoom for six or eight weeks. Students are invited to submit up to 15 pages of their work twice over the course of the class for instructor feedback. During the session, they may also sign up for one individual conference with the instructor.
