This is not your typical writing retreat.
No word-count competitions, no gimmicky exercises, no one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, you’ll spend three days at the serene Uplands Retreat Center with a small group of women who care as much about ideas as they do about sentences.
Each day combines time for writing with off-the-record conversations on the subjects that shape our work and our lives. Expect thoughtful dialogue on gender, culture, and the challenges of being a woman in the current moment—alongside honest discussions about writing craft, sharing work, and getting published without losing your voice.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Write in a focused, distraction-free setting
Share your work and receive feedback from peers and guest speakers
Join conversations that move easily between art, politics, and the writing life
Connect with other women serious about both thinking and writing
